Play Safe! It's great having fun on holiday but we don't want you to get lost, get hurt, get bitten or get burnt! So here are a few things to remember so you can get on with having fun!
- Don't climb on walls or railings if there is something you want to see ask one of your grown ups to lift you up.
- Don't squeeze through railings or gaps in fences you don't know what might be on the other side.
- Don't feed or pet Dogs and Cats in some countries the cats you see are feral that means they are wild and not like the domesticated pets you have at home. In fact all animals abroad should be left alone as cats and dogs and even bats can carry rabies.
- Do make sure your grown ups give you something to keep with a contact phone number in case you get lost but better still keep hold of your grown ups hand when you are in crowded places and don't ever wander off. If you get lost who is going to tell your grown ups what to do!
- Don't try to cross roads or go in a lift or on an escalator without at least one of your grown ups
- When your grown ups put you in a car make sure you are wearing a seat belt or fastened in to your child seat NEVER unfasten your seat belt until your grown ups come to help you out of the car and NEVER EVER unfasten your seat belt and stand up while the car is moving.
THE SUN is great! Take a look at our Sun Facts to learn all about it.
But be careful too! When you are on holiday you are usually closer to the sun so it feels a lot hotter. Make sure you: SLIP, SLAP, SLOP! Just like the Australians! SLIP ON A SHIRT
SLAP ON Natural SUN CREAM
Make sure your grown ups cover you and themselves in Natural Suncream which includes Natural Insect Repellent.
SLOP ON A HAT
Then you won't get burnt.
And when the sun goes to sleep then use Natural Aftersun which contains twice as much Natural Insect Repellent because this will not only moisturise your skin but it will also protect you from the biting insects which love to come out at night.
Mosquitoes are nasty biting insects that can may you really ill so always cover up in the evenings and when you go to bed and make sure your grown ups use Natural Insect Repellent to stop insects biting.
